Everything Jay-Z touches Turns To Gold

One of the greatest rap artist of all time has just cracked the top ten on the Forbes top ten list for celebrities. Shawn Carter, or better known as Jay-Z has for many years called him self “Hova” after God´s formal name Jehovah. Few can argue with this self title as he sits on top of the entire rap industry and world in general. Jay-Z is the wealthiest rap artist in the entire world and is ninth on the most rich celebrities list.

In 2003 Jay-Z announced his retirement with his farewell album, “Fade to Black.” At the time, he was already part owner of the New Jersey Nets, the Rocawear Clothing line, and owner of the 40/40 club. Not to mention was hooked up with fellow superstar Beyonce Knowles. Instead of staying retired Jay has just released a new album call “Kingdom Come” which debuted at number one on the Billboard pop and rap lists. With the release of this new album and the opening of another 40/40 club, Jay Z is now making more money than ever.

Jay also sold his Rocawear label to Iconix for an estimated two hundred and four million dollars and made approximately eighty three million dollars last year in 2007. It is easy to say that Jay Z is a very rich man. Along with his girlfriend Beyonce on his side, he could quite possibly be the richest man on Earth based on the overall realm of his life. With all this money Jay Z has now stuffed into his multiple piggy banks, he has the ability to purchase anything he wants.

Jay Z is truly an entrepreneur and had the chance to help GMC with a new concept car, the GMC Yukon Denali. He debuted it at an initiation only party where seventeen new GM vehicles were released. His Denali was on of the hit cars of the night. Jay was able to add personal touches to it that made the SUV vehicle brilliant. It is really no question why GM would ask Jay Z to produce a concept for their lineup of cars. Jay Z is a genius business man and anything that he touches automatically turns to gold.

With his new concept car quite possibly becoming a reality for regular iindividuals to purchase, it adds another item that will put mass amounts of dollars into his wallet. Look out for Jay-Z this upcoming year, he made eighty three million last year, and has the ability to go even higher this year.
