Many know him as the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Others know him as the infamous rapper that sang the catchy tune “Parents Just Don´t Understand.” However, we all know him as one of the best actors and most sought after individuals in the entire world. Will Smith is one of the top celebrities in the entire universe and is one of the best paid as well. The year 2007 was extremely good to Will as he pulled in an estimated $31 million dollars.

Will Smith was born on September 25, 1968 and has since risen to incredible heights. Will is actually one of only three actors in history to have films eclipse the one hundred million dollar platform. Since every movie that Will Smith stars in turns into a blockbuster, he has become one of the highest paid actors of the industry. His going rate is over $20 million per flick which is among the biggest names in Hollywood.

Many people forget that Will Smith started his career of as a Philadelphia based rapper. Along with his tag team buddy Jazzy Jeff, they were able to create original rap music which eventually caught the attention of production mogul Quincy Jones. This spawned the birth of the hit sitcom “Fresh Prince of Bel Air” in 1990, which ran for an impressive six seasons. During this time, Will made his movie debut in “Six Degrees of Separation” which got rave reviews from a number of movie critics. He made his big splash however, in the movie “Bad Boys” alongside actor/comedian Martin Lawrence in 1995. Ever since that movie was released, Will has starred in countless big blockbuster films that have established him as an A list celebrity.

Will Smith is now married to fellow actress Jada Pinket Smith and he has two children with her as well as another from a previous marriage. Will and his family have a beautiful home tucked away in a private location outside of Los Angeles. With all the success Will has seen, it seems the rich only get richer with his incredible relationship with smoking hot wife Jada Pinket Smith and loving family. Will recently premiered yet new movie called “I Am Legend” which turned out to be another blockbuster. The movie became the highest grossing movie ever released during the holiday season. Will is set to star in a couple more movies in 2008 and hopes he sees even more success this year.
