One of the most recognizable television personalities today is Simon Cowell. Simon has made a huge name for himself in the United States by starting American Idol, one of the most popular reality shows ever. However, American Idol is just one of many reality shows that Simon has started. Some of these shows include the super hit America’s Got Talent, American Inventor, and Celebrity Duets. In addition to his incredible reality show empire, Simon Cowell also is a Sony BMG music executive. All this work has kept Simon extremely busy yet it has put a large chunk of money into his bank account. In 2007, Simon made an incredible forty five million dollars which was good enough to land him on the number twenty one slot of the Forbes top one hundred celebrity list.

Simon Cowell was born on October 7, 1959 and has become one of the most successful individuals alive today. Simon is one of the three judges on American Idol, and is known for his crude and blunt comments towards auditioners. Many people do not know that Simon is also the producer of other big time reality shows that top the rating charts on a nightly basis. Even if he didn’t work on these other shows, Simon would still be a very rich human. In 2006, Simon signed a twenty million a year deal to remain one of the judges on American Idol for the next five years. Even though Simon seems to be the mean guy on television, he is actually a well liked person and an extremely hard working character.

Simon saw many troubles when he first launched his professional career. He worked as an A&R guy for two different companies and also started two different independent music labels which both folded causing him to go bankrupt and be deep in debt. However, he rebounded very nicely and is now among one of the top paid celebrities on Earth. With all the success and fame Simon has seen over the years, he has been able to live a very charmed lifestyle.

Simon is well known as a ladies man who likes to have the company of very young and sexy ladies around him. He was accused of cheating on his then girlfriend Teri Seymour with model Jasmine Lennard in 2006. They both claimed nothing happened and it was strictly business. Regardless, Simon still has the ability to be with any hot girl he wants because he is a very talented producer and drives a $300,000 Rolls Royce and owns a multi million dollar home.
