Born in 1974, Jenna Jameson was the daughter of a police detective and showgirl. Jenna was only a toddler when her mother passed away from cancer. Her father raised her and his older son by himself. Jenna was forced to grow up quickly and left home at the age of 16. She lived with her tattoo artist boyfriend. He made his mark on her lovely derrière, a “Heart Breaker” tattoo. Jenna looked for work locally and applied at a strip club. She was turned down because of her braces. Jenna wasn’t about to take no for an answer. She went home and removed the braces with a pair of pliers. The next day, Jenna was showing off her tattoo and high heels on stage.

Jenna stripped until she was 19 and then pursued adult films while doing nude magazine covers. She performed in her first adult film in 1993 and later landed a contract with Wicked Pictures. She was paid $6,000 per month to perform in 8-10 films per year. The big money, believe it or not, came when she returned to performing on the pole. She said, “After I became famous, I made sick money stripping.” She laughed. She would easily get her audience to cough up $5,000 at each and every show. She would sometimes do 4 shows a night. Jenna said she could make $50,000 per week.

Jenna shot 40 films with Wicked by 1998. She met a man named Jay Grdina at an awards ceremony in Las Vegas. Jay was in the adult industry and had been in it since college. Jenna and Jay fell in love and bought a house in Scottsdale, Arizona for $2 million. Jenna was extremely successful but yearned to be her own boss.

Jenna and Jay started up ClubJenna in 2000. ClubJenna.com offered more than just spicy photos and videos. Diaries, advice on relationships and plastic surgery and even stock tips could be found on the website. ClubJenna became more diversified by running other adult websites for 16 actors plus ClubJenna’s 5. Tera Patrick and Briana Banks were among them. ClubJenna generated $12 million from these services.

ClubJenna then started a film production company. Jenna and Jay starred in many of the films. Most of the films were girl on girl. Jenna is said to be a bisexual. Jenna and Jay were married in June of 2003.

Jenna Jameson has brought talent and class to the adult world. She is a successful business woman and renowned porn star. She is very smart and quite approachable. I have seen her in a number of interviews and I have to say she is tops. A real down to earth classy lady with one gorgeous body!

ClubJenna was sold to Playboy Enterprises for $16.7 million. Playboy needed a highly profitable acquisition in order to stabilize it’s own position. Playboy Enterprises is worth approximately $310 million.
