Jenny McCarthy – Millionaire Actress, Model, Comedian
Jenny McCarthy
Jenny McCarthy is a popular model, actress, comedian, and as of late, author. If you know anything about the fashion and entertainment industries, it is safe to say that you have heard of McCarthy. It was obvious since being born in November of 1972 that McCarthy was going to be a star. And over the years she has excelled within a number of different industries.
McCarthy’s big break came in 1993 when she was accepted by Playboy as a model. On a whim she sent her photo to the company as a way to make money to pay for school. But of course, the rest is history. Her first photos appeared in Playboy in October of 1993. For her first shoot she was paid a total of $30,000; not bad for a few hours worth of work. Shortly after appearing in Playboy for the first time, McCarthy became both the Playmate of the Month as well as the Playmate of the Year. Thanks to a great first year with Playboy, McCarthy moved to Los Angeles to further her career. In 1994 she began hosting a Playboy Television show known as Hot Rocks; this was her first stint on television.
Through the mid to late 1990’s McCarthy starred in several television shows as well as on the big screen. Once again in 2003 she made her way into the movies; this time in Scary Movie 3 alongside co-playmate Pamela Anderson. This is one of McCarthy’s most popular movies.
Even though McCarthy periodically poses for Playboy, she is making her money with more worthy endeavors as well. Most recently she released a book entitled Louder Than Words: A Mother’s Journey in Healing Autism. This book stems from McCarthy’s son being diagnosed with autism.
McCarthy lives in Sherman Oaks, California, and is still in the celebrity spotlight after all these years. With great looks, as well as a knack for being entertaining on television, it is safe to say that McCarthy is not going anywhere in the near future. And as long as she sticks around in one way or the next, there is no denying that she will continue to earn huge paychecks.
